8. Mobile Connectivity

The Government has aimed to offer a stable mobile connectivity to more than 42000 villages across the country by the end of the year 2018. In order to achieve this target, the Government needs to invest a total of Rs 20000 crore. Apart from the Government, several companies like Idea, Airtel, Reliance, BSNL, and MTNL takes part in this project and plays a vital role to reach this target.

The Government has decided to implement the following projects through Digital India Programme initiative by the year 2019:
